DID YOU KNOW...?

What Reflexology actually is? It's not a foot rub, or treatment of the foot itself ~

It's easy to get confused by the concept of Reflexology or to mistake it for a relaxing massage.

BUT, did you know that contemporary clinical Reflexology, further developed in the 1960s, is derived from ancient Chinese medicine.

A little bit like acupuncture!

It works on the belief that energy (Chi) runs up and down our bodies in pathways (meridians). This energy flow is vital to our health and wellbeing.

A fully trained Reflexologist can work on reflex points on your feet, hands or even ears(!) to treat areas of your body causing you problems AND strengthen the body's natural healing process.

Just a weekend thought to share with you.

If you've been struggling through lockdown with your general health and emotional wellbeing ~ speak to a therapist to see how they can help you. 🙏

This Foot Map by @theholisticposterco details commonly used reflex points that correspond to the body part it treats 🤯 All of these reflex points are worked on by your Reflexologist during ONE Reflexology treatment.

I'll be back in the treatment room this Tuesday! If you haven't already been in touch I am already taking bookings for the summer.
